How to add an environment to your background
We have received several questions asking us how one can add an environment to a background.
An HDRI lighting background will allow us to add an environment to the background of a Rendered Image. HDRI files can be either only lights, or lights plus a scene. The photo here appears to be lights plus scene style.
When using the Vray preview window, we can see the scene as well as the lighting effects.
Some of the lighting options in Vstitcher already have scenes included. To see these, right-click in the 3D window background and choose "edit lights". This will open the lights view and you can toggle through the lighting options.

If you are looking to explore HDRI maps, there are a variety of great free maps that can be found online with backgrounds.
Note, this method requires using the Vray preview window to render. If the goal is to have a background in a render, the easiest option would be to use a normal render and render with a transparent background. Then, take the render and overlay it above an image in an image editor.

Hi Maxyel,We can add an HDRI file to VStitcher by right-clicking in the 3D background window and using the dropdown to "add new file"I would recommend checking out https://hdrihaven.com/hdris/ to download a free HDRI. You can download one between 1-4k. Note, it may take a bit for the HDRI file to load.
Good luk,Zisie0
