What's New in Lotta 2021.3.1

This release includes the following new and improved features:

User Interface Refresh

Version 2021.3.1 includes the first part of a gradual user interface refresh. Icons in the software may display with slight differences from the versions shown in the Help Center. In addition, you can now choose a light or dark user interface. For more information, refer to Appearance.

Artwork Execution

The Artwork execution and Substance presets features have received a user interface refresh and usability enhancements. For more information, refer to Material Mode and Substance Presets.

Asset names in the libraries display in Chinese if that is your selected language. For more information, refer to Chinese Language Support.

Single Sign-On (SSO)

Lotta now supports SSO, including authentication and auto enrollment, using the OpenID Connect protocol. The logon process when you first run Lotta 2021.3.1 is different, unless using a dongle. Your user credentials remain the same. Simply follow the on-screen instructions.

Additional Color Libraries

Coloro 3500 and YKK Global Colors have been added to the available color libraries. For more information, refer to Color Libraries.

Additional Shoes

Moccasins have been added as an available shoe type. For more information, refer to Putting Shoes on an Avatar.

Additional Assets

The following have been added to the asset libraries:

• Permess Interlinings

• YKK Eco-Friendly Library

What's Fixed in Lotta 2021.3.1

This release includes fixes for the following issues:

• On graded pattern, stitching piece on internal line on base size not following graded internal line

• Imported pattern not showing correct grading for points and internal lines

• Imported graded DXF patterns may appear distorted

• Exported DXF pattern sometimes not displaying accurately in 2D window

• Print to File of vector artwork with radial gradient displays incorrectly or omits gradient

• Print to File of translucent artwork displays incorrectly

• Unable to open certain DXF files

• New Mac with multiple graphics cards and dongle unable to open VStitcher

• Some pieces displaying incorrectly when folded in prepare mode

• Use of flatten 3D styling on whole piece may adversely affect simulation

• Neckband of particular garment displaying incorrectly in prepare mode

• In prepare mode, grid is deformed on piece with fold line

• Grading sometimes importing incorrectly

• Importing DAT file may cause DB Admin to crash

• Show texture in prepare mode not working

• Physical properties of attached pieces not always working properly

• Exported DXF containing inner symmetry not graded correctly

• Color picker of solid color background in render window not working in Mac

• Exporting glTF:

  • Export of particular garment file not working properly

  • Smart zipper sometimes not shown in the right curve location

  • Not always replicating use of opaque alpha mode

• Garment in Fold & Hang workspace not behaving properly

• Inconsistent export behavior between VStitcher and VS Server Engine (previously known as VStitcher CLI)

• Unable sometimes to convert internal line to slit

• Not always able to select, edit, or hide point on line drawn in 3D annotation

• Plugins sometimes not available for use

• Software crashes when exporting Autodesk FBX file with certain settings

• Zipper not displaying in a colorway

Download and Upgrade Versions Instructions

Upgrading to Lotta 2021.3.1

• Download and install Lotta 2021.3.1 from here.

• Cloud License Users - send your upgrade request to support@browzwear.com. There is no need to send any files.

• Dongle License Users - you must update your license dongle. Send your C2V to support@browzwear.com. For further information, refer to Retrieving a C2V File and Applying a V2C File.

• If you need to renew your contract and are interested in version 2021.3.1 contact sales@browzwear.com.

File Versions

Lotta 2021.3.1 and VStitcher 2021.3.1 both support files created in earlier VStitcher and Lotta versions.

Earlier VStitcher and Lotta versions do not support version 2021.3.1 files.
