Editing Old Parametric Avatars
You can make styling changes to a parametric avatar in Lotta.
To edit the avatar's appearance:

On the Main menu, click 3D Environment, then Avatar. The avatar menu is displayed.

Select the option for the change you want to make. Expand the following for details.
Mannequin LookParametric avatars can have a regular or a mannequin look. The regular look is lifelike with skin textures. By default, the avatar uses the regular look.The following image shows the avatar Deborah in regular (left) and mannequin look (right).
With the avatar menu displayed, click Mannequin Look to toggle from one look to another.
Skin ToneYou can change the avatar's skin tone. The available skin tones depend on whether you have selected regular or mannequin look.
To change the skin tone:
- With the avatar menu displayed, click Skin Tone. A list of available skin tones is displayed.
- Click the skin tone you want. The avatar is updated.
Body ResolutionThe amount of detail in the 3D geometry for the avatar. The more detail, the smoother the avatar. The more detail, the larger the file size.
To change the body resolution:
- With the avatar menu displayed, click Body Resolution. A list of available body resolutions is displayed.
- Click the body resolution you want. The avatar is updated.
HairUnless you have selected Mannequin Lookx, you can change the avatar's hair style.
To change the hair style:
- With the avatar menu displayed, click Hair. A list of available hair styles is displayed.
- Click the hair style you want. The avatar is updated.
Final PosesYou can change the pose of the avatar to one of a range of available poses. For example, the following image shows a selection of poses: Bicycle, Balanced, and Tennis.
To change the pose:

With the avatar menu displayed, click Final Poses. A list of available poses is displayed.

Click the pose you want. The avatar pose is updated, and the garment is simulated in the selected pose. This may take a little time.
Alternatively:

Go to the 3D window.

On the 3D toolbar, click the Poses drop-down.
The Poses drop-down displays the name of the current pose. Therefore, your Poses drop-down only displays Walking on Runway if that is the current pose.The available poses are displayed.

Click the pose you want. The avatar pose is updated and the garment is simulated in the selected pose. This may take a little time.
