What's New and Improved in Lotta 2024.1.1

This release includes the following new features:

• Combine Garments​​: Improvements to the Outfit Creation tools allow combining garments by reusing existing snapshots, while minimizing the need to redo the simulation, and reducing the need for styling. The layering capabilities eliminate the need to deal with layering at the pattern level and preserves styling. For more information see ​Creating an Outfit​​.
• The ​Outfit Map​ option in the GUI was changed to ​Edit Outfit​​.
• 2D Measure Tool Improvements​​: It is now possible to extract parameters from points and select edges using the Size and Grading tool. This allows greater flexibility when adjusting pattern pieces by using either points or edges and allows switching between the Selection and Sizes and Grading tools. • Sizes and Grading Tool Improvements​​:
  • Allows activating filters to toggle between viewing or hiding internal lines and pieces when using the Sizes and Grading tool.
  • Supports switching between piece and internal point selection while grading.
  • Allows using the 2D Measure tool to create formulae while using the Sizes and Grading tool. For more information see ​Manually Grading​​.
• Half drop repeat​​: Added the ability to repeat patterns using the vertical and horizontal half-drop repeat option. For more information see ​Allover Print​​.
• Multiple Item Delete​​: It is now possible to bulk delete Poses, Snapshots, Closet items and Colorways.

What was fixed in Lotta 2024.1.1

• The system crashed when sharing styles with Legacy share with 3D turntable settings selected.
• Rendering failed or resulted in crashing when selecting Ray Trace render in the Quality Standards.
• Fabric appeared transparent when using fur in the V-Ray preview.
• A network error occurred when sharing styles with Legacy share.
• Images did not appear properly when sharing to Stylezone with Legacy share using OpenGL on Macbook Pro M1 machines.
• When sharing vector artwork to Stylezone, the images appeared enlarged in the ColorUp tool.
• Values were not saved when changing Scale Tool measurements.
• Seams on tight bias pattern pieces created jagged edges.
• Artwork did not appear correctly when using Magic Mirror and printing to PDF.
• Not all stitching appeared when using the OpenGL engine.
• The keyboard shortcut for the "Insert >Measure" option did not work.
• The 3D Trim was locked after using the Auto Lock function.
• When viewing a tech pack in Adobe Illustrator that was created using the export as "PDF (Vectors Only)" option, some pattern pieces were missing.
• After exporting a GLB file with texture compression, the texture in the garment did not appear properly.
• The seam color did not appear in the Context view when selecting a seam.
• The avatar size set did not appear in the Avatar Size Set Manager when opening a transferred BW file in VStitcher for the first time.
• Not all items appeared after adding a material library with U3MA files.
• When opening some BW files that include snapshots of Alvanon avatars, the texture of the Alvanon avatar appeared white instead of the default cloth appearance.
• The application crashed when using the Undo command in Symmetrical Styling.
  VStitcher crashed when attempting to view a snapshot in the 3D Review workspace.

Download and Upgrade Versions Instructions

Upgrading to Lotta 2024.1.1:

• Download and install Lotta from here.

• Cloud License Users - send your upgrade request to support@browzwear.com. There is no need to send any files.

• Dongle License Users - you must update your license dongle. Send your C2V to support@browzwear.com. For further information, refer to Retrieving a C2V File and Applying a V2C File.

• If you need to renew your contract and are interested in version 2023.3.2 contact sales@browzwear.com.

File Versions

Lotta 2024.1.1 and VStitcher 2024.1.1 both support files created in earlier VStitcher and Lotta versions.

Earlier VStitcher and Lotta versions do not support version 2024.1.1 files.
