Rendering a Turntable

The correct VStitcher render preferences are essential for good rendering operations. For more information, in Editing VStitcher Preferences, refer to Rendering.

The following image is an example of a turntable generated as an animated GIF.

Turntable example

To create a rendered turntable:

  1. On the Main toolbar, click Click to display the Render window. The Render window is displayed.

    • 2020 January Edition and newer

  2. Click Turntable.

  3. The default output type is HTML. If using VStitcher 8.0 and newer, for Output Type, you can select either HTML or Animated GIF.

  4. Do one of the following:

    1. Edit the render settings as required. For more information, refer to Editing Rendered Turntable Settings.

    2. Use previously saved settings:

      1. In the text box near the top of the Render window, click Drop-down. A menu is displayed.

      2. Select the name of the previously saved settings you want to use. The render settings are adjusted to match the previously saved settings. You can edit these in the normal way, if required.

    3. Import render settings:

      1. In the text box near the top of the Render window, click Drop-down. A menu is displayed.

      2. Click Import. A file explorer window is displayed.

      3. Navigate to where the settings file is located.

      4. Click Open. The render settings are adjusted to match the previously saved settings. You can edit these in the normal way, if required.

  5. Click Render.

    A file explorer window is displayed.

  6. Navigate to where you want the rendered turntable files to be located.

    A file name is suggested. If you want to change the file name, type in the new file name.

  7. Click Save. The rendered turntable is created. When finished, a file explorer window is displayed with the location of the rendered turntable.
