Colorways Dialog Box

Click to generate a snapshot image. If no simulation has been completed, you are prompted to dress the garment.

Import

1. Click to import a colorway. A file explorer window is displayed.

2. Navigate to the location of the VSGX garment file from where you want to import a colorway, and select the file.

3. Click Open. The Import Colorways dialog box is displayed.

4. Click the colorway you want to import. The associated fabrics, seams, artwork, and trim are displayed on the right of the dialog box.

5. Click OK. The colorway is imported into your current garment.

The new colorway includes the fabrics, seams, artwork, and trims of the source colorway. However, you must assign all the required materials to the garment pieces.

Clone

1. Click the colorway you want to clone.

2. Click Clone. The cloned colorway is displayed in the dialog box.

The new colorway includes the fabrics, seams, artwork, and trims of the source colorway.

Tip: The Colors In Use status bar is one way to change colors in a newly cloned colorway. For more information, refer to Colors in Use.

View All

Click to close the Colorways dialog box. The Colorways workspace is displayed.

Change Name

1. In the Colorways dialog box, click the name you want to change.

2. Type in the new name.

3. Press Enter. The new name is displayed.

Delete

1. In the Colorways dialog box, hover on the top left of the colorway you want to delete. An X is displayed.

   

2. Click the X. A confirmation message is displayed.

3. Click Yes. The colorway is deleted.
