Assigning Fabric to a Piece

To assign fabric to a piece:

If the Materials tab is not already open, on the Resources tabs, click Materials.
From the Fabrics section, drag the fabric to the piece in the 2D window.

Alternatively:

If the Materials tab is not already open, on the Resources tabs, click Materials.
On the Main toolbar, click Assign.
On the Materials tab, click the fabric.

Ensure you have selected the fabric you want. You can check by viewing the Material in the Horizontal contextual menu.
On the Horizontal contextual menu, ensure Pieces is selected.
In the 2D window, the cursor changes when over a piece to confirm the application is in assign mode. Click on the piece you want to assign the fabric to.

The fabric is assigned to the piece.

You can also drag the fabric to the piece, or assign the fabric to the piece, in the 3D window.
If you have already assigned fabric to one or more pieces, and want to replace the fabric with a new fabric:
1. On the Materials tab, drag the new fabric over the fabric you want to replace.
2. Drop the new fabric on Replace. The new fabric replaces the old fabric wherever the old fabric was assigned.
