If you are not already familiar with the Lotta user interface, here are the parts you need to know:

The tutorial uses these names, and you will find progress easier if you know them. You can always refer back here for guidance.

The tutorial file is Sweatsuit.bw.

To download the tutorial file:

1. Click here.

2. Make a note of where you save the file.

To open the file in Lotta:

1. Open Lotta.

2. On the Main menu, click File, then Open. A file explorer window is displayed.

3. Navigate to wherever you saved the tutorial file and select it.

4. Click Open.

   The file is loaded into Lotta and a snapshot dialog box is displayed.

   

5. Click Open.

   Now you can view the pattern pieces in the 2D window, and the garment on an avatar in the 3D window.

   The following image is a thumbnail. Throughout the Help Center, you can click on thumbnail images to expand them. Click your browser's Back button to return it to a thumbnail.

   

6. If you haven't already done so, now would be a good time to practice changing your view of the pieces in the 2D window. For example:

   • Hold down the spacebar (or the mouse wheel button) and drag the background to move all pieces.

   • Rotate the mouse wheel button to zoom in and out.
