This feature allows you to use vector artworks from Illustrator in Lotta, maintaining any scale or color edits you make in the vector file format. You can use such Ai/SVG files for artwork or piece assignable trim. There is no change in how you add such materials to your garments.

Opening a Garment with an Ai File
When you open a garment with an existing Ai file in Lotta, and that file has not already been converted in Lotta to vector format, that file displays on the Materials tab with a warning icon.
If you hover your mouse over the thumbnail, a message is displayed confirming that the artwork is being treated as non-vector, inviting you to convert the artwork to vector format.

If you accept the invitation, the artwork (and all instances of it in the garment) are converted to vector format (SVG).

If you do not accept the invitation, the artwork continues to be treated as non-vector.
