For more information about limitations on puffy garments, expand the following:
Closely Spaced Quilting Lines
If quilting lines are spaced too close together, VStitcher is unable to successfully simulate a puffy insulated fabric between them, regardless of the Puffy Firmness applied.
Multi-Panel Shells
Shells that are made out of multiple panels before they are quilted and filled require a different treatment in Lotta and VStitcher. This is because the puffy function treats pattern edges as quilting lines.
To replicate multi-panel shells, do the following in VStitcher:
-
Combine all the panels into a single pattern piece using merge.
-
Then apply the panel edges on the new single pattern piece as internal lines.
For more information on using the Merge tool, refer to Merging Pieces.

Hello!
Summer is over, so now I need to start working on my puffers!
I'm having issues with pointy corners at side seams and CF zipper. of course, if I lower my puffy thickness it's less noticeable but I want a really puffy jacket :D
I tried different seam finishes and shrinking the seams but that doesn't help. any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
thank you!
