Single Ai File for Artwork in Colorways
This feature allows you to configure the application so that when you use an Ai file for artwork, you can ensure that all changes to the original Ai file are automatically replicated in all colorways.
If this feature is enabled, when you edit the Ai file using the Edit Externally feature, all edits are automatically replicated to every instance of the artwork. For example, assume you have an Ai file for an icon, and you have the icon in two colorways. If the feature is enabled, and you use the Edit Externally feature, all changes are replicated in the two colorways.
To enable the feature:
On the Main Menu, click:
Edit (Windows)
VStitcher (Mac)
Click Preferences. The Preferences dialog box is displayed.
Click the Images & Colors tab.
Select Use one master Ai file for all colorways.
Click OK.
To disable the feature, clear the selection.
