I made a lot of garments in Clo3D, where I do the drafting inside the program, then trace the pattern for simulation.
I would like to do the same in Vstitcher, but the inability to draw precise line or changing the length in once direction really slow me down. The scale option move the point at both ends, and this mess with my draft.
I'm aware of using the guideline workaround, but what if I want to draw diagonally? or changing the length of curve?
Is this a limitation or I'm missing something obvious?
If this is a true limitation, then I have no choice but to draft my pattern externally. Bonus question = why I'm getting a blank when importing dxf file? It import fine in Clo3D.
I has high hope for this program, and would like to continue using it.

Hi Najdmie,
Thank you for submitting your question to the community forum. Do you have access to Browzwear University? I highly recommend watching the pattern shape functions modules in both 101 and 201 to get a better understanding of how you can manipulate points and lines when drafting in VStitcher.

In addition, I am sharing a very useful video tutorial on creating guidelines to assist you with pattern drafting in the program. (Tutorial starts at min 16:50)
