I created a puffer jacket with quilting. The top quilt seam on body is not as defined as the other quilt seams on body of jacket even though I added the same shrink percentage. How can I improve this (see screenshot). The quilt line highlighted in the pattern piece is not visible in the simulation.
Also, I want to use an invisible zipper for the inseam pockets. How do I simulate an invisible zipper on garments?

Hi Susan,
1. Select the internal line and set the baffle wall height to a lower number. Hit the dress button and let it fully simulate. You should see a more defined quilting line now.
2. Our best option for getting that invisible zipper look is applying the 3D puller only with no actual zipper. Stitch the seams of the opening together and download a puller from the YKK Zipper Library.
After downloading the puller, drag it into your 2D window, select it, and set the layer of it to be higher than the pattern pieces that it will sit on top of. Also set the grid of it to be .3.
Create a point on your pattern piece to stitch the puller to. From your menu select "insert" and then point from the drop down. Try to set this point as close to the opening edge as possible without actually having it on the edge.
Stitch the puller to the point.
Arrange the puller onto the body before dressing the garment:
Dress the garment and use your 3D gizmo to style it into place. Apply a dark shadow to the edge to give it more depth if needed.
You could also use a real smart zipper and set the width to a low number. You'll still be able to see the zipper so this wouldn't really reflect the look of an invisible zipper. You could work around it by creating an extra pattern piece to stitch over it to hide it.
I hope these suggestions are useful to you. Best of luck and let us know if you need any further help.
