Is it possible to place my slash and spread lines this way (red lines)? I'm finding the slash and spread lines have limited placement according to the angle of the line it is being drawn from. Is there an option for more mobility in choosing what line segment the slash line starts from and goes to?

Hi Shelley,
Thanks for posting! The slash and spread function end always continues perpendicular to the edge where the start has been assigned. In some cases, this can limit where the slash and spread can be placed, as in this example.
While we can edit the location of the start and end of the function, the location cannot be moved outside of the segments made by corner points.
One option would to remove a corner point at the underarm prior to adding the slash and spread. This would allow you to then alter your locations after applying the function. It is important to note that in this process, you would need to update your stitching after altering the slash and spread value.
In the below image, you can see that I have removed the corner point that would be at the top of this edge. This allowed me to alter the slash and spread to the lower sleeve. When I add the spread, we can see that the stitches are no longer properly aligned as the corner point was removed and cannot hold the stitching in its original location. We would need to drag the stitch back to its proper location prior to dressing to test the spread.
