How to add shrinkage at full patterns to reduce all parts at once as like 2D pattern Gerber software

  • To simulate garments from patterns that have shrinkage added, we can reduce the patterns by the shrink value in the fabric physics. 

    For example, lets use the below skinny jeans. These patterns include shrinkage so they appear too loose on the body. 

    Select the fabric we will use on the garment and click the physics icon to open the physics window.

    Check the option for shrink and input a W and L percentage shrink. 

    Click OK to confirm the change. 

    You will see the patterns shrink in the 3D window. Click Update 3D to update the simulation. Now your garment will show in 3D as it would after shrink has occurred.
