Hello,
Could someone please be able to explain why I'm having this issue? I let the simulation finish completely. My trouser layers are higher than my shirt and the grid size for the trousers is set at 0.7 and the shirt is set at 0.5. I keep having this issue. Please help me! Thanks

Hi Rima,
Can you please try to set the pant pieces a few layers higher than the shirt? That sometimes helps to simulate layers better. Also make sure that the collision for the pant and shirt pieces are set to default.
Please let me know if you still have the same issue after testing this out.

Hello Afsha,
Thank you for replying. I did have them in different layers. It's alright now. I figured it out. The stitch depth was a lot so I fixed it and it worked.
Thanks!
Hello,
I have a similar situation. I finished the blazer from the 301 VStitcher course. After the simulation you'll see the lining through the shell. I tried to set the pieces a few layers higher, but it doesn't work.
Do you know what to do to fix this?
Thank you!

Hi Myrthe,
This can also occur when the lining material is thicker in physics than the outer jacket material.
I suggest checking both and comparing them to see if that is the case. If it is, you can simply adjust the thickness of the lining material to be lower and that should solve the issue.

Hi Afsha,
Thank you for your reply. The physics of the lining was already thinner than the shell.
I doubled the physics of the shell and divided the lining in half, but it still doesn't work.
Is there anything else what I can do?
Thank you in advance.

Myrthe
Hi Myrthe,
Can you also try to uncheck "Enable the displacement in production render" option in your preferences and try again?

Afsha
