I tried to merge pattern into existing pattern and received a message "can't merge garments, imported garment have more sizes than the current garment".  I checked the Garment button on the main tool bar for the skirt and it lists only (1) garment size.  I also checked the size for top and it lists (3) options for size.  I did not create (1) option or (3) options, please advise how this can be corrected.  (SEE SCREENSHOTS)

Since I was unable to merge patterns into (1) file, I selected the create outfit option and notice the render is blurry when you zoom in, how can I improve this? (SEE RENDER)

  • Hello Susan,

When merging garments, we must have the same number of sizes and name of sizes to merge the garments. We can adjust both by going to main menu tab tools > sizes and grading panel.

In this option, we can change the base size by selecting the size you would like to change to the base, then use the dropdown to click “set as base size”.

We can change the size name by double clicking into the size field and typing a new name.

We can delete a size by selecting the size, then using the dropdown to click “delete size”.

When rendering, be sure to set the image size/print size to match the style of render you are looking to produce. Second, it is best practice to zoom in so that the garment fills the render window. If the goal of the render is to be able to zoom in and see fine detail, we will want to set the image size to produce a high-resolution image. I would recommend starting with a render at 1500x1800 at 300 DPI.

Hope this is clear, let us know if you have any further questions.
