System Requirements Details

Quick Reference: Which Product Are You Setting Up?

This guide covers system requirements for all Browzwear products. Use the sections below to find your product and platform.

VStitcher & Lotta

Other Tools

Design and simulation software. Most detailed system requirements.

DB Admin, License Server, VStitcher CLI

Understanding Minimum vs. Recommended

MINIMUM

RECOMMENDED

Basic functionality
The bare minimum to run the software. Performance will be slower on complex garments.

Optimal performance
The sweet spot for smooth workflow and best user experience with complex designs.

VStitcher & Lotta System Requirements

Windows

Not Recommended on Virtual Machines
Performance will be significantly reduced. Always install on a physical laptop or workstation for optimal results.

Minimum Setup

Basic functionality — slower performance on complex garments

Component

Specification

Processor

Intel Core i7 or AMD Ryzen 7

RAM

16GB DDR4

GPU

NVIDIA® GTX 1050+/ Quadro P2200 or AMD: RX 550+

GPU Memory

4GB VRAM minimum; 8GB recommended

Storage

256GB HDD

Display

1920×1080 @ 60Hz

Operating System

Windows 10 64-bit (2024.2.x, 2025.1.x, 2025.2.1, 2025.3.x)

Accessories

3-button mouse (left, right, scroll wheel) required

Recommended Setup

Optimal performance — smooth workflow with complex garments

Component

Specification

Processor

Intel Core i7/i9 (12th gen+) or AMD Ryzen 9 series (12+ cores at 3.2GHz+)

RAM

32GB DDR4

GPU

NVIDIA RTX 3000 series or Quadro RTX

GPU Memory

8GB VRAM or higher

Storage

512GB SSD (minimum)

Display

2560×1440 @ 60Hz

Operating System

Windows 11 (2024.2.x, 2025.1.x, 2025.2.1, 2025.3.x)

Accessories

3-button mouse (left, right, scroll wheel) required

V-Ray GPU Rendering (Windows)

Additional requirements if using V-Ray for GPU rendering:

Component

Specification

GPU Required

NVIDIA RTX-class GPU (Turing generation or newer)

Compute Capability

5.2 or higher

GPU Memory

Minimum 8GB VRAM

Driver

Latest NVIDIA Studio Driver (581.57 or newer)

Important: GPU Memory Requirement
Your entire scene—including all geometry and textures—must fit into the GPU's VRAM for RTX mode to work. Complex scenes may fall back to CPU rendering if they exceed available GPU memory.

MacOS

Not Recommended on Virtual Machines
Performance will be significantly reduced. Always install on a physical laptop or workstation.

Ray Tracing Not Available
Apple hardware lacks hardware-accelerated ray tracing support. This feature is not available on macOS systems.

Minimum Setup

Basic functionality — slower performance on complex garments

Component

Specification

Processor

Intel i7 with 8 cores

RAM

16GB DDR4

GPU

AMD Radeon R9 M375 (4GB)

Storage

256GB HDD

Display

1920×1080 @ 60Hz

Operating System

macOS 15.4 Sequoia or later

VStitcher CLI

Also known as VStitcher Headless or Vstitcher Server Engine.

Component

Specification

Environment

Windows Server with GPU instance (e.g., AWS g4dn.xlarge)

RAM

16GB minimum

Requirements

Internet access and VStitcher CLI license

License Server

The license server can be any functional computer, as long as client workstations can communicate with it using stable, high-speed bandwidth connections. Your firewall must allow license information exchange between the server and client workstations in both directions. Contact your IT support team if you experience connectivity issues.

Glossary

GPU / Graphics Card

A dedicated processor that handles graphics and 3D rendering. Essential for smooth 3D navigation and real-time textures in Browzwear products.

VRAM

Video RAM—the memory on your graphics card. More VRAM means better performance when working with complex garments and high-resolution textures.

DDR4

The type of system RAM most modern computers use. Standard on computers built in the last 5+ years.

RTX / Ray Tracing

A rendering technique that creates photorealistic images by simulating how light bounces around a scene. Only available on NVIDIA RTX-class GPUs.

SSD vs. HDD

SSD (solid-state drive) is significantly faster and is recommended for optimal performance. HDD (hard disk drive) is older technology and slower, but still functional for basic tasks.

Compute Capability

A technical specification of NVIDIA GPUs indicating their performance tier. Higher numbers represent newer, more capable graphics cards.
