Overview
VS Poser has two panels: a Joint Configurator for direct per-joint rotation control, mirroring, and saved custom poses; and a Pose Renderer that iterates every avatar pose (built-in and custom), redressing and re-simulating the garment, then rendering four views per pose.
Requirements
VStitcher 2025.3.0 or newer (BwApi 3.x)
How to Use VS Poser
Joint Configurator
Open Plugins → VS Poser → Open Joint Configurator, search and select a joint, then adjust X/Y/Z rotation sliders. Opening the panel automatically takes a timestamped backup of the current pose (up to 5 kept), so you can always recover if edits go wrong.
Control | Action |
±15° / ±30° / ±45° / ±90° buttons | Quick-nudge the selected axis |
Reset / Reset All | Restore joint(s) to their value when the panel was opened |
Mirror | Copy this joint's rotation to its L_/R_ counterpart |
Avatar Poses | Apply a built-in VStitcher pose as the new baseline |
Save Pose | Write the current pose to a custom poses folder |
Pose Renderer
Open Plugins → VS Poser → Run Pose Renderer, select which poses to include, and click Start. The plugin iterates poses, resimulates, and renders four views per pose (0°/45°/90°/180° turntable camera) to ~/Downloads/<StyleName>_Poser/, named {garment}_{pose}_{view}.png.
Troubleshooting
Issue | Fix |
Joint sliders not updating avatar | Confirm the avatar is loaded and visible in the 3D viewport first |
Pose renderer doesn't stop | Use Cancel — it finishes the current pose before stopping |
Renders saved in wrong location | Files go to |
Custom pose not loading | Poses are stored locally; check the dropdown in the configurator |
