Editing Draping Properties

To edit the draping properties of a piece:

1. On the Main toolbar, click Select.

   

2. On the Horizontal contextual menu, ensure Pieces is selected.

   

3. In the 2D window, click the piece you whose draping properties you want to edit.

4. Go to the Context view, in the Draping Properties section.

   

5. Edit the settings as required.

   Setting	Description
   Use in 3D Drape (Enable in 3D)	By default, this setting is selected, and the piece displays in the 3D window. Clear this setting to have the piece not display in the 3D window.
   Details (Grid)	Allows you to configure the grid height and width for each square of the grid on the piece. For more information, refer to Understanding the Grid.
   3D Layer	Allows you to set a stacking order for the piece. Type in the value you want. For more information, refer to Understanding 3D Layers.
   Collision Type	Allows you to set the order in which pieces are layered over each other when they collide. Click to view the available collision types. For more information, refer to Understanding Collision Types.
