If you have this feature, you can add a copyright notice to your garment file.

To add a copyright notice:

  1. On the Main menu, click Garment, then Copyright Protection. A dialog box is displayed.

  2. Type in the company name.

  3. Type in the password twice where indicated.

    Note

    Use of a password is optional. If you do not use a password, anyone can remove the copyright notice.

  4. Click OK. A copyright notice is displayed at the bottom of the 2D window. The following image is an example.

Effect of the Copyright Notice

If a garment file has a copyright notice, a warning displays whenever a user tries to do the following:

  • Export the file

  • Print to File

  • Create Tech Pack

Note

The warning notice that displays uses the company name chosen when the notice was added.

Removing a Copyright Notice

You can remove a copyright notice if you have the password (or no password was used).

To remove a copyright notice:

  1. Load the file into VStitcher.

  2. On the Main menu, click Garment, then Copyright Protection. A dialog box is displayed.

  3. Type in the password, and click OK. The copyright notice is removed.
