This section shows how to stitch the two ends of the collar together in the 3D window. For information about stitching in the 2D window, refer to Stitching in the 2D Window.

Tip

You may find it easier to stitch the collar ends together, if you temporarily hide the avatar.

To hide the avatar:

  1. In the 3D window, right-click the avatar - not the garment. A menu is displayed.

  2. Click Hide Avatar. The avatar is hidden.

To view the avatar:

  1. In the 3D window, right-click outside the garment. A menu is displayed.

  2. Click Show Avatar. The avatar is displayed.

To stitch the collar together:

  1. On the Main toolbar, click Stitch.

  2. Go to the Context view.

  3. Ensure Single stitch is selected.

  4. In the 3D window, click either vertical edge of the collar, then click the other vertical edge. The stitches are displayed.

    The following image shows the collar edges being stitched together. Note that the collar has been rotated so both edges are displayed for ease of view. Such adjustments can be sorted when the stitching is complete.

  5. Save the file: on the Main toolbar, click

Once you have stitched the collar edges together, continue with Checking the Garment.
