While in walk mode, you can maintain control over a piece by snapping it.

When you snap a piece to a point, a grid, or a guideline during the walk, there is a short pause so you can adjust the piece (by adding a notch, mirroring a piece, or making other adjustments) in its snapped location.

To snap a piece:

  1. In the 2D window, right-click the piece.

  2. On the Horizontal context menu, go to Snap to.

  3. Select where to snap the piece.

Note

When you slide the pivot point:

  • Snap to Edge and Slide statuses are ignored.

  • Snapping is limited to Snap to Point and Snap to Grid statuses.

The following image shows this feature in action.
