When you create a tech pack, there is an option to hide rulers: Hide Rulers on Centered Artworks. If this option is selected, and artwork is centered to a piece:

  • If centered on the X axis, the X ruler does not display through the artwork

  • If centered on the Y axis, the Y ruler does not display through the artwork

  • If centered on the X and the Y axis, neither ruler displays through the artwork

Note

By default, Hide Rulers on Centered Artworks is selected.

If you prefer, you can enable the rulers to display.

To enable the rulers on centered artworks to display:

  1. On the Main menu, click File, then click Create Tech Pack. The Create Tech Pack dialog box is displayed.

  2. In the Artworks Position section, clear Hide Rulers on Centered Artworks.
