Split Internal Lines
Allows dividing internal lines into segments while maintaining their properties. You can also split a line at multiple points. Splitting an internal line maintains the following line properties: symmetry, cross lines, cut marks, shrink, puffy, glue, and iron lines. Note that the properties for inner slits, edge assignable, and fold lines are not maintained.
To split an internal line:
1. Select an intermediate point on an internal line you want to split.
2. Right click and select the Split Line option to divide the line into segments. Or, select the Split option in the Context View > Actions. After splitting the line, the two endpoints of the separated segments will overlap. You can use the Point Underneath option to select the point you want to move.
3. To split lines at multiple points, select several points along the internal line. Use the Split Line option to divide the line at the selected points simultaneously.
