Using a Wacom Device

If you are using a Wacom device with your graphical software, such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, you can also use it with VStitcher and Lotta.

In the 2D Window

You can use the Wacom device in the 2D window exactly as you would typically use it with your graphical software of choice. There is one exception: panning using two fingers is not supported.

Instead of panning using your fingers, we recommend configuring one of the button options on the Wacom Pen tool to pan.

In the 3D Window

You can navigate in the 3D window using the Wacom device as follows:

  • Rotating

To rotate the view around the avatar, use the tip of the pen in the same way as you would use the mouse. For more information, refer to Using the Mouse.

  • Zooming

To zoom in and out of the 3D window, either:

    • Use the Touch Ring on the device, or

    • Use the Pinch and Spread finger technique - note that touch functionality must be enabled on the device

  • Panning

    Note

Panning using two fingers is not supported. Instead of panning using your fingers, we recommend configuring one of the button options on the Wacom Pen tool to pan.

To pan the camera view of the 3D environment avatar, first ensure you are in Look At mode*. Thereafter, use the configured Wacom pen tool.

(*To enter Look At mode, in the 3D window, right-click the avatar or the garment. A menu is displayed. Then click Look At. For more information, refer to Using Focus or Look At Mode.)
