Adding Slash and Spread
You can easily add slash and spread to your garments.
To add slash and spread to a pattern piece:
On the Main toolbar, click Insert.

On the Horizontal contextual menu, click , then click Slash and Spread.
Go to the 2D window.
Click on the edge you want the slash to start. The line is displayed on the pattern piece.
Optional - you can edit the location of the slash line by dragging the start or end point.

For a single slash:
Click on top of the newly added start point. This sets it as a single slash.
Click in the pattern piece where you want the anchor.
Go to the Context view.
In the Actions section, enter the values you want for Start and End Spread. For more information, refer to Editing Slash and Spread.

For multiple slashes:
Click on the start edge where you want the slash and spread to extend to.
Click in the pattern piece where you want the anchor.
Go to the Context view.
In the Transformations section, at Slash Line Count, type in the number you want. For example, if you want four slices, type 5.
In the Actions section, enter the values you want for Start and End Spread. For more information, refer to Editing Slash and Spread.
If you have dressed the garment, you may view the slash and spread effect in the 3D window.
When slash and spread is adjusted as required, go to the Context view and click Implement Spread. The pattern piece is changed to reflect the slash and spread adjustments.
