Exporting Garments as 3D Objects

With the finished simulation of a garment, you can export the garment (with or without the avatar) as a 3D object. For example, the output may be used with third-party rendering or other software.

To export a garment as a 3D object:

  1. On the Main menu, click File, then Export. A file explorer window is displayed.

  2. Navigate to where you want to save the exported garment.

  3. A file name is suggested. If you want to change the file name, type in the new file name.

  4. In Save as type, select the file format you want to use from the drop-down list. For example, Autodesk FBX.

  5. Click Save. The Export 3D Object dialog box is displayed.
