To import the DXF file:

Open VStitcher.

On the Main menu, click File, then Import. A file explorer window is displayed.

Navigate to wherever you saved the tutorial file and select it.

Click Open. The Import Options dialog box is displayed.
The following image shows the Import Options dialog box.

In Shape Rotation, ensure 90 is selected.

In DXF Units, ensure Centimeters is selected.

At the bottom left of the dialog box, click Preview. A preview of the pattern pieces is displayed in the 2D window.
If your preferences are set to centimeters, the pattern pieces should be displayed in the 2D window something like as shown in the following image.
If your preferences are set to inches, the pattern pieces should be displayed in the 2D window something like as shown in the following image.

If the pieces are displaying as indicated, click OK. The available pieces are displayed in the 2D window. You have finished importing the DXF file.

If the pieces are not displaying as indicated:

Go to Size Multiplier and click and select the multiplier you want to use. For example, if the sizes of the pattern pieces look to be far too small, select x 10 or x 100.

At the bottom left of the dialog box, click Preview.

In the 2D window, check how the pattern pieces and sizes display.

If the pattern pieces look correct, click OK to import the DXF file. If otherwise, select another Size Multiplier and repeat the process.

Once you have imported the DXF file, continue with Rearranging the Pattern Pieces.
