You can replicate puffy insulated fabrics in VStitcher to create true-to-life insulated 3D garments. The puffy function creates two separate layers from a single pattern piece.

Using the puffy feature in a garment creates a large file and uses an increased amount of processing power in simulation. Some complex garments may take more time to simulate than the time taken for other less complex garments.
