To create puffy quilting lines:

  1. Ensure that a puffy fabric has been applied to the desired pattern pieces. For more information, refer to Creating a Puffy Fabric.

  2. In the 2D window, if they do not already exist, create the internal lines that are to become quilting lines on the pattern pieces. Expand the following image to see an example of internal lines created for this purpose.

  3. In the 2D window, select the lines that are to become puffy quilting lines.

  4. Go to the Context view, and in the Line Properties section, select Puffy.

    • Puffy settings are displayed.

    • The internal lines are now quilting lines.

    • Active puffy lines display in the 2D window in green.

  5. On the Main toolbar, click Dress to simulate the garment with the puffy fabric and quilting lines.

    Next, you need to edit the puffy garment.
