You edit the seams in a group of seams the same way you edit a single seam. For more information, refer to Editing a Seam.

In addition, you can do the following:

Change the Stacking Order of a Multilayered Seam

The following image shows a multilayered seam with the stacking order of each of the two seams forming the group.

To change the stacking order of a multilayered seam:

  1. If the Materials tab is not already open, on the Resources tabs, click Materials.

  2. Click the seam group you want to edit.

  3. Go to the Context view.

  4. Select which seam you want to move. Drag

    to put the seam in a different stacking order.

Remove a Seam from a Group

To remove a seam from a group:

  1. If the Materials tab is not already open, on the Resources tabs, click Materials.

  2. Click the seam group you want to edit.

  3. Go to the Context view.

  4. On the row of the seam you want to remove, click

    . A menu is displayed.

  5. Click Remove from Group. The seam is removed from the group, but remains in the garment.

Clone a Seam in a Group

To clone a seam in a group:

  1. If the Materials tab is not already open, on the Resources tabs, click Materials.

  2. Click the seam group you want to edit.

  3. Go to the Context view.

  4. On the row of the seam you want to clone, click

    . A menu is displayed.

  5. Click Clone Seam. The cloned seam is added to the group.

Edit a Seam Texture

To edit a seam texture, you must edit it in external software.

To edit the texture of the Diffuse channel in external software:

  1. If the Materials tab is not already open, on the Resources tabs, click Materials.

  2. Click the seam group you want to edit.

  3. Go to the Context view.

  4. On the row of the seam you want to edit, click

    . A menu is displayed.

  5. Click Edit Externally. The file is opened in the image editor specified in your preferences.

  6. Edit the file as required.

  7. Save the file.

  8. Return to VStitcher to view the changes.

Rename a Seam in a Group

To rename a seam in a group:

  1. If the Materials tab is not already open, on the Resources tabs, click Materials.

  2. Click the seam group you want to edit.

  3. Go to the Context view.

  4. On the row of the seam you want to rename, click

    . A menu is displayed.

  5. Click Rename. The Rename Material dialog box is displayed.

  6. Type in the new name.

  7. Select or clear Apply to all Colorways according to whether you want the new name to be applied to all colorways.

  8. Click OK.

Delete a Group Seam from a Garment

To delete a group seam fabric from a garment:

  1. If the Materials tab is not already open, on the Resources tabs, click Materials.

  2. Click the seam group you want to edit.

  3. Go to the Context view.

  4. On the row of the seam you want to delete, click

    . A menu is displayed.

  5. Click Delete. A confirmation message is displayed.

  6. Click Yes. The seam is deleted from the group and the garment.
