You can easily assign artwork to a piece.

Note

You can use each of the following procedures to assign one piece of artwork to a pattern piece, and to replace one piece of artwork with another.

To assign artwork to a piece:

  1. If the Materials tab is not already open, on the Resources tabs, click Materials.

  2. From the Artwork section, drag the artwork to the piece in the 2D window.

Alternatively:

  1. If the Materials tab is not already open, on the Resources tabs, click Materials.

  2. On the Main toolbar, click Assign.

  3. On the Horizontal contextual menu, ensure Pieces is selected.

  4. On the Materials tab, click the artwork.

    Note

    Ensure you have selected the artwork you want. You can check by viewing the Material in the Horizontal contextual menu.

  5. In the 2D window, the cursor changes when over a piece to confirm the application is in assign mode. Click on the piece you want to assign the artwork to, where you want the artwork to be.

    The artwork is assigned to the piece.

Tip

You can also drag the artwork to the piece, or assign the artwork to the piece, in the 3D window.
