The Message
When running VStitcher, you may see a prompt indicating the application is using your Integrated Graphics Processor (iGPU) instead of your dedicated GPU (e.g., NVIDIA or AMD). Here's an example:
Not the warning you're looking for? If your message instead says something about "running out of GPU memory," that's a different issue — see Troubleshooting: "Running Out of GPU Memory" Warning instead.
Why This Happens
There are three common causes:
1. Laptop Power Saving Mode Many laptops automatically switch to the iGPU to conserve battery. If your laptop is in Power Saving Mode, or set to prefer the iGPU, VStitcher may end up running on it instead of your dedicated GPU.
2. Desktop Default GPU Settings Some desktop PCs enable integrated graphics by default at the BIOS level. If your dedicated GPU's drivers aren't correctly installed (or are disabled), the system can default to the iGPU.
3. Driver or Configuration Issues Outdated drivers or an inconsistent system configuration can prevent VStitcher from detecting your dedicated GPU at all, causing it to fall back to the iGPU.
Why It Matters
Running VStitcher on an unsupported GPU can lead to:

Unexpected application behavior
