Important note: This feature will only be available for styles uploaded using VStitcher 2025.3 and onward.
With the release of Stylezone 6.12 and VStitcher 2025.3, we can now open a BW file directly from a style on Stylezone. We will have this option when viewing the style:
As well as from the style card preview:
This feature will only be available on styles where a BW file was included in the upload. More information about including a .bw file in a Stylezone upload can be found here:
How to use this feature:
Navigate to the style you wish to open in VStitcher
Select the three ellipses in the right-hand corner of the style > 'Open in VStitcher'
The .bw file will download to your computer, then automatically open in the latest version of VStitcher compatible with the .bw file
Troubleshooting:
If VStitcher is not installed on your machine, you will be prompted to first install VStitcher
If you are using an older version of VStitcher that is not compatible with the selected file, you will be met with an error message indicating the file cannot open in your installed version
Permissions:
Site Admins, and Members (including folder Moderators, Contributors, and Reviewers) can access this feature for styles they have access to
External users will only be presented with this option if they are a Contributor in a folder
