Upload & Render in Stylezone

Overview

Upload & Render in Stylezone allows you to create new styles directly from Stylezone by uploading .bw files and rendering them in the cloud.

This feature replaces the legacy “Add New Style” process and enables:

  • Single or bulk uploads (up to 100 files)

  • Cloud-based rendering (headless VStitcher)

  • Automatic style generation

  • Live progress tracking via notifications

How to Upload & Render Styles

Step 1: Navigate to the Target Folder

  1. Open Stylezone.

  2. Navigate to the folder where you want the styles created
    (for example: Folders > Women > SS 2026).

If the folder is empty, you’ll see:

“It is empty in here! Create styles or folders to begin.”

Step 2: Click Bulk Styles

In the folder view:

  1. Click Bulk Styles.

  2. The upload dialog opens.

You’ll see the field:

Source BW File *

You can:

  • Drag and drop .bw files directly

  • Or browse and select files from your computer

You can upload up to 100 .bw files at once.

You can also customize the Style name, folder location, upload preset per style if desired.

  1. Select the edit icon to the right of the uploaded file name.

  2. Edit the text fields for name or description.

  3. Change the location and upload preset options.

Step 3: Confirm Upload

After selecting your files:

  • Each file automatically inherits its file name as the style name.

  • Styles will be created in the folder you initiated the upload from.

  • You can also select a different folder for the upload location.

Once you confirm, the system begins processing.

You’ll see the message:

“Style creation is in progress. We will notify you once the process is complete.”

What Happens During Rendering?

Stylezone uses cloud-based (headless) VStitcher rendering. This functionality utilizes render credits.

Snapshot Selection Logic

For each style, the system selects a snapshot in the following order:

  1. Latest manual snapshot named with the following:

    • “final”

    • “finished”

    • “finish”

    • “ready”

    • “snapshot”

  2. If none exists → latest manually named snapshot

  3. If none exists → latest automated snapshot

Colorways

  • All colorways are rendered automatically.

  • Selective colorway rendering is not available.

Presets

Currently available presets:

  • Default

  • Default + 3 Camera Views

  • Legacy (no render credits charged)

Only default VQS presets are supported.

Tracking Progress

Progress is visible in two ways:

1. Pop up notification - A temporary message appears indicating that creation is in progress.

2. Notification Center

Click the Notifications icon to view detailed progress.

You’ll see updates for:

  • Status: Success, in-progress, partial, and failed renders.

  • Error Cases: missing fields, invalid inputs, or insufficient credits.

  • Allows canceling and recovery flows for failed uploads or renders.

Render Credits

  • Credits are charged only for successfully rendered styles

  • No credits are charged for:

    • Failed renders

    • Legacy styles

  • Rendering will not start if the account balance is negative

Permissions & Access

  • Styles inherit folder-level permissions

  • Moderators and Contributors can upload

  • External user access depends on admin configuration

Error Handling

The system will notify you if:

  • Required fields are missing

  • Files are invalid

  • Credits are insufficient

You can cancel the upload while it is in progress.

Failed uploads display clear status indicators and allow recovery actions.
