This section shows how to deal with the situation when the following error message is displayed:
Windows
For a PC, the error arises if you first open and use an older version of the software, then open and use a newer version and try to render a garment.
Mac
For a Mac, this error arises:
When an older version of the software is installed after a newer version of the software
In case of an installation error
Fixing the Issue
As an initial step to fix this:
Leave the error message displaying on your screen.
On your taskbar (Windows) or menu bar (Mac), click
The Browzwear Connect pane is displayed.
Note: The pane displays different content if you are not using a cloud license.
Click
A menu is displayed.
Click Exit. A confirmation message is displayed.
Click Yes.
On the error message, click Retry.
Note: You may need to wait a short time before the system responds. Also, you may need to click Retry several times.
If this does not resolve the issue, see below suggestions:
1.) To fix the issue when an older version of the software is installed after a newer version of the software:
Close all instances of Browzwear software on the computer.
Exit Browzwear Connect.
Reinstall the newest version that was installed of the software. You do not need to uninstall the newer version first. The version should now open successfully.
If the issue persists:
Uninstall all versions of the Browzwear software on the computer.
Reinstall them in the order that they were released.
2.) To fix the issue when only one version is installed on the computer:
Close all instances of Browzwear software on the computer.
Exit Browzwear Connect.
Reinstall the software. You do not need to uninstall the newer version first. The version should now open successfully.
