How to Import and Export Avatars

To import an avatar:

  1. On the Resources tabs, click 3D.

  2. Click Avatars. The available avatars are displayed.

  3. Click plus.png at the top of the displayed avatars. A menu is displayed.

  4. Click From Template to import a Browzwear supplied avatar. A list is displayed.

    1. Click the avatar you want to import. The Create New Avatar dialog box is displayed.

    2. Type in a name for the avatar, and click OK. The avatar is imported.

  5. Click Import (OBJ/VSA) to import a non Browzwear supplied avatar. Note: This is also for an FBX file. A file explorer window is displayed.

    1. Navigate to where the avatar file is located, and select it.

    2. Click Open. The avatar is imported.

    Note

    If importing an avatar provided by a third-party, you may require to set up orientation and assign anchor points. For more information, refer to Setting Up an Imported Avatar.

To export an avatar:

  1. On the Resources tabs, click 3D.

  2. Click Avatars. The available avatars are displayed.

  3. Select the avatars you want to export.

  4. Click export.png at the top of the displayed avatars. A file explorer window is displayed.

  5. Navigate to where you want to export the avatar file.

  6. Click Save. The selected avatars are exported.
