Multi Avatars
You can have more than one avatar display in the 3D window or the render window, at the same time, wearing the same or a different garment.
For example, you might use this feature to work on one garment while viewing another, or view multiple colorways together, or render multiple garments and poses together, or view the garment in different sizes.
You can use this feature to add dressed avatars only.
Displaying Additional Avatars
To display an additional avatar:

On the Main menu, click Garment. A menu is displayed.

Click Labs, then Multi Avatars, then Add Avatar.
A copy of the original avatar is now displayed in the 3D window:

The new avatar is the active avatar. This is marked by a green circle above the avatar’s head.

The original avatar is inactive.

New avatars are added to the active avatar’s right side - to the left of the active avatar from your perspective.

The new avatar has the same pose, colorway, and size of the original avatar.

You can work on the new avatar as normal. For example, change the pose.

With multi avatars:

Navigation in the 3D window affects the active avatar. The inactive avatar moves to maintain the same distance from the active avatar.

Edits to the garment, colorway, size, and so forth, only affect the active avatar.

The 2D window displays only the pieces of the active avatar.

It is possible to change the active avatar. For more information, refer to Multi Avatars.
Right-click on the inactive avatar to display a menu.

Reset View - resets the view to the default with the active avatar in the center of the 3D window.

Look At - activates Look At mode.

Hide Avatar - hides the inactive avatar.

Set Active Avatar - makes the selected avatar the active avatar, centering the view on the newly designated active avatar
Set Active Avatar is available only for inactive avatars from the currently open file. Avatars previously added from other do not have this option. -
Remove Avatar - removes the avatar.
If you open another file (from within the program), while there are inactive avatars in the 3D window, all inactive avatars remain. Only the active avatar changes to the one from the newly opened file.
Existing inactive cannot become active again unless you reopen the original file containing an inactive avatar.
Avatars added after opening a new file have the Set Active Avatar option.
After loading multiple avatars, you must reset to have the application display a single avatar.
To clear multiple avatars:

On the Main menu, click Garment. A menu is displayed.

Click Labs, then Multi Avatars, then Reset. A confirmation message is displayed.

Click Yes. The display reverts to a single avatar.
