A closed cut mark shape is a shape composed of internal lines, all of which have the Cut Mark property.
Now VStitcher supports:
-
Fur properties and physics behavior of materials assigned to closed cut mark shapes
-
Visible outside or inside property of materials assigned to closed cut mark shapes
Fur and Physics
You can configure the fur properties and physics behavior of materials assigned to closed cut mark shapes in the same way as with materials assigned to pattern pieces.
For example:
-
Create the closed cut mark shape.
-
Assign a fabric to the shape.
-
Go to the Resources tabs and click the assigned fabric.
-
Go to the Context view.
-
At Fur (V-Ray Only) select Use Fur. For more information, refer to Fur.
-
At the top right, click Physics. For more information, refer to Editing Fabric Properties and Physics Reference.
When rendering using V-Ray, the selected fur properties or physics behavior are shown in the render. The physics are also shown in simulation.
Visibility
You can configure the visibility property of materials assigned to closed cut mark shapes in the same way as with materials assigned to pattern pieces.
For example:
-
Create the closed cut mark shape.
-
Assign a fabric to the shape.
-
Select the shape.
-
Go to the Context view.
-
In the Materials section, at Visible on, toggle Outside and Inside to display the properties you want.
Note
Material in a closed cut mark shape may be visible or not on the outside (face) of the pattern piece and visible or not on the inside (back) of the piece.
For example, the following image shows Outside selected, but not Inside:
