Adding Trim to a File
You can add to the trims available for use in your garment, by adding trim objects to the garment file.
To add piece assignable trim to a file, do one of the following:

Note: If using large thumbnails, Clone Trim displays instead as a separate icon when you hover over the trim. |

To add edge assignable trim to a file, do one of the following:

You can create a group trim material. Like a single trim, a group trim repeats along a line or edge it is assigned to.
To create a group trim material, you create a group trim, and add the trims to the group. To create a group trim, you must first have edge assignable trims. If you need to add trim, for more information, refer to Adding Edge Assignable Trim to a File.
To create a group trim from existing edge assignable trim material:

If the Materials tab is not already open, on the Resources tabs, click Materials.

If not already open, click the Garment tab.

Go to the Trims section.
In Trims, in the Edge Assignable section, drag one trim over another edge assignable trim. A group trim is created.
To add further trims to the group, drag them from the Edge Assignable section.
The following image shows the creation of a group trim.
Alternatively:

If the Materials tab is not already open, on the Resources tabs, click Materials.

If not already open, click the Garment tab.

Go to the Trims section.

In Trims, in the Edge Assignable section, hover over the trim you want to start the group.

Click . A menu is displayed.
Click Create Group. The group is created with the trim.
To add further trims to the group, drag them from the Edge Assignable section.
