Once you have completed the simulation for a garment, you can easily create a tech pack, configured to meet your requirements.

Note

Tech pack output type is determined according to your preferences. You can choose:

  1. Default

  2. Large Thumbnails

  3. Excel (2020 January Edition 2020.1.1 and newer)

To select the template used, go to Preferences.

  1. Go to the Main menu.

    1. Windows: click Edit, then click Preferences.

    2. Mac: click VStitcher or Lotta as appropriate, then click Preferences.

The Preferences dialog box is displayed.

  2. Click Tech Pack.

  3. At Template, click

  4. Click OK.

For more information about using the Excel format, refer to Excel Output of Tech Packs.

Tip

Before creating a tech pack, you may find it helpful to create a suitably worded and easily located folder for the tech pack and its supporting contents.

To create a tech pack:

  1. On the Main menu, click File, then Create Tech Pack. The Create Tech Pack dialog box is displayed.

  4. Navigate to the folder where you want the tech pack to be created, and click Select Folder. A loading status bar is displayed while the tech pack is created.

Unless using the Excel format, the tech pack is created as a number of folders and an HTML file.
