The front piece has a seam allowance of 0.5cm at the collar, 1cm on each side, and 2cm at the bottom. The back piece has a seam allowance of 1cm at the top and sides and 2cm at the bottom. The seam allowance is displayed as an internal line inside each piece. Once we remove the seam allowance, we also need to delete the internal line.
The steps involved are:

On the Main toolbar, click Select.

In the 2D window, press Shift and click on each of the lines forming the edge of the neckline of the front piece.

In the Context view, select Seam Allowance.

Type in -0.5, and press Enter.
Note
If your preferences are set to inches or millimeters, type instead -0.5cm.
The seam allowance on the neckline of the front piece is removed.

In the 2D window, press Shift and click on each of the lines forming the left and right sides of the front pattern piece.

In the Context view, select Seam Allowance.

Type in -1, and press Enter.
Note
If your preferences are set to inches or millimeters, type instead -1cm.
The seam allowance on the on the sides of the front piece is removed.

In the 2D window, press Shift and click on each of the lines forming the bottom of the front pattern piece.

In the Context view, select Seam Allowance.

Type in -2, and press Enter.
Note
If your preferences are set to inches or millimeters, type instead -2cm.
The seam allowance on the bottom of the front piece is removed.
After removing the physical seam allowances, we need to delete the internal lines.
To remove the seam allowance internal lines:

In the 2D window, below the front piece, click
. A message is displayed.

On the message, click OK. The icon no longer displays and the piece is no longer protected.

On the Main toolbar, click Select.
-
On the Horizontal contextual menu, ensure Pieces is cleared and Internal is selected.

Click on the internal line - it is displayed in red on the piece edges.

Click Delete. The internal line is deleted. If done correctly, the piece edges now display in blue. To check this, on the Horizontal contextual menu, ensure Pieces is selected, then hover your mouse over the piece.
To remove the seam allowance from the back piece:
-
On the Main toolbar, click Select.
-
In the 2D window, press Shift and click on each of the lines forming the edge of the back piece other than the bottom.

In the Context view, select Seam Allowance.
-
Type in -1, and press Enter.
Note
If your preferences are set to inches or millimeters, type instead -1cm.
The seam allowance is removed from everywhere except the bottom edge.

In the 2D window, press Shift and click on each of the lines forming the bottom of the pattern piece.

In the Context view, select Seam Allowance.

Type in -2, and press Enter.

If your preferences are set to inches or millimeters, type instead -2cm.
The seam allowance on the bottom of the front piece is removed.
Finally, let’s remove the internal lines.
After removing the physical seam allowances, we need to delete the internal lines.
To remove the seam allowance internal lines:

In the 2D window, below the back piece, click
. A message is displayed.

On the message, click OK. The icon no longer displays and the piece is no longer protected.

On the Main toolbar, click Select.
-
On the Horizontal contextual menu, ensure Pieces is cleared and Internal is selected.

Click on the internal line - it is displayed in red on the piece edges.

Click Delete. The internal line is deleted. If done correctly, the piece edges now display in blue. To check this, on the Horizontal contextual menu, ensure Pieces is selected, then hover your mouse over the piece.
After removing the physical seam allowances, you can check that the digital seam allowances are still there.
To view the digital seam allowance:

Go to the 2D window toolbar.

Click
.
The seam allowance is displayed on the pattern pieces.
Once you have removed the seam allowances from the front and back pieces, continue with Saving the File.
