Overview
The Snap to Intersection feature gives pattern makers and technical designers accurate precision when aligning pieces or creating shapes. You can now snap directly to the intersection of two internal lines.
This is only available in Version 2025.2 and newer.
How to Use
Open a garment in 2D view.
Enable the Snap to Intersection toggle:
Found under Select Tool or Pen Tool.
With the toggle active:
Select Tool: snap when moving pieces, attached shapes, edges, points, darts, or guidelines.
Pen Tool: snap when drawing a line or shape in non-edit mode, or when adding a point on top of an intersection in edit mode.
Notes
This works only with internal line intersections.
It ignores artwork bounding boxes, pleats, darts, and external shapes.
