Release Date: September 15th 2025
We are excited to introduce VStitcher 2025.2, bringing new tools and enhancements that improve simulation realism, grading accuracy, visual consistency, and production readiness.
What's New
Expose Folder Hierarchy in “Share to Stylezone”
Users can now view the full folder path when sharing garments to Stylezone, ensuring they select the correct destination folder and reducing misplacement errors.
Tech Pack Enhancements
Excel Tech Pack outputs are now clearer and easier to read, with the option to exclude AOP repeat thumbnails, display style names on separate rows, and show artwork material names and details on individual rows.
Export Production-Ready Artworks
Tech Pack export now includes original editable vector artwork files (AI/SVG) per colorway. All prints are collected in a single folder and recolored states are injected back into the source files for accurate factory handoff.
Print Layout for Sizes
A new Print Layout Tool allows defining and exporting size-specific 2D layouts directly to PDF, preventing overlaps and reducing manual Illustrator editing.
“New” Tab Update Indicator on Homepage
The Home screen now includes a “New” indicator tab to alert users to newly released features without disrupting their workflow.
Vector Artwork Color Names
Color names from AI vector artworks are now exposed in the material editing panel and exported Tech Packs, reducing manual renaming and ensuring accurate communication of production specs.
Soft Avatar Improvements
Gravity can now be toggled on or off for soft avatars, showing only garment pressure deformation and improving clarity for fit evaluation.
Edge Forces Improvement – Force Multiplier
The force multiplier logic has been refined to apply accurate stretch resistance along stitched edges, resulting in more stable edge behavior and realistic shaping around bindings, rib hems, and hoods.
Padding Simulation
Users can now simulate padded structures such as bras and suits by defining volume with internal lines and applying Puffy, including variable thickness and tapered edges.
Edit Non-Base Size While Grading
Grade points can now be added, moved, and edited directly on non-base sizes. This enables smooth curve refinement without switching tools, improving accuracy across size ranges.
Break Multi-Stitch into Single Stitches
Multi-stitch connections can be converted into individual stitches, allowing point-by-point editing, grading, and tension adjustments across sizes without recreating stitches.
Move and Rotate Pieces with the Grading Tool
Pieces can now be moved and rotated directly inside the Sizes and Grading tool, eliminating the need to switch back to the Selection tool for layout adjustments.
Snap to Intersection
A new Snap to Intersection toggle has been added to the Selection and Pen tools, enabling precise snapping to intersections of internal lines for accurate 2D editing and grading setup.
Unreal Engine Display Options
Multiple new viewport display modes—wireframe, solid, material preview, and final render—have been added to the 3D viewer, providing faster design decisions without leaving VStitcher.
VRay Render Quality Settings
Users can now select from predefined render quality presets suited for quick previews, detailed QA, or final high-resolution visuals, improving speed and consistency in rendering.
Color Pipeline Correction and Consistency
Exports now support selecting RGB or CMYK color modes, ensuring consistent color appearance between on-screen previews and final production files.
Layering by Area & Thickness Improvements
Material layering behavior has been enhanced to better represent stacked thickness, improving the accuracy of complex material assemblies.
What's Fixed
Garments no longer distort during styling when they are locked.
Fixed an issue where the VS API failed to send messages to the HTML window while debugging.
Resolved incorrect HTML window height display on scaled monitors.
