Tutorial Map

In this part of the tutorial, you create the extra pieces that are needed to complete the garment design.

Before creating more pieces, make sure you know how to:

Select a piece

  1. On the Main toolbar, click Select.

  2. On the Horizontal contextual menu, ensure Pieces is selected.

  3. In the 2D window, click the piece.

Move a piece

  1. On the Main toolbar, click Select.

  2. On the Horizontal contextual menu, ensure Pieces is selected.

  3. In the 2D window, drag the piece.

Zoom in and out

In the 2D window, rotate the mouse wheel button.

Move all pieces

In the 2D window, hold down the spacebar and drag the background.

The 2D window displays the following pieces:

Piece

ID

Description

Sleeve

Note

If the IDs do not display:

  • On the Main menu, click View, then Shape Options. A list of options is displayed.

  • Click to select Pieces ID.

  • On the 2D window toolbar, toggle

    to display information about the pieces, such as the IDs.

To complete the garment you need to add these pieces:

  • Front left

  • Back left

  • Another sleeve

Tip

Before adding pieces, you may find it easier if you arrange the existing pieces in the 2D window to give you more space to work in.
