Drag and Drop Actions

You can do the following additional actions in the Colorways display:

  • Drag between material types. You may drag a material from one type to another as detailed in Changing Material Type. This creates a copy of the material in the new location.

  • Drag from one colorway to another. You may drag a material from one colorway to another, maintaining the type. For example, you may drag an artwork from one colorway to artwork in another colorway. This creates a copy of the material in the new colorway.

  • Drag and drop on another material. You may drag a material from one colorway to another, or within the same colorway, dropping it on another target material. If you drop it on Replace and the target material is assigned to pattern pieces, the newly dragged material replaces it on the same pattern pieces. If you drop it on Group, a multilayered material is created.
