Unlike side or patch pockets, when creating welt pockets, we are unable to create a functional pocket .
Here are some important points to note:
You need to have the net welt pattern to stitch on top of the garment.
The edges of the pocket welt pattern must be stitched to internal lines on the garment.
Pocket bags are optional and are not necessary if you want to create a faux pocket.
You can create internal lines on the pocket bags to stitch to the welt pocket opening on the garment.
Adjust the pocket bags to a lower 3D Layer than the main garment, and the welt pocket patterns to a higher 3D Layer than the main garment.
