Creating the Other Sleeve
In this part of the tutorial, you use the gizmo. If you already know how to use the gizmo, you can skip ahead to Creating the Sleeve.

To enable the gizmo:

On the Main toolbar, click Select.

On the Horizontal contextual menu, select Gizmo.
Gizmo selected:

When the gizmo is selected, it appears automatically when you select a piece in the 2D window.

With the gizmo enabled, you can:
Resize an artwork or an internal line |
Click the artwork or line, and drag a corner of the gizmo. Press Shift or Alt while doing this to resize from the center. |
Resize a piece or an artwork |
Click in the piece or artwork, and drag a corner of the gizmo. Press Shift or Alt while doing this to resize from the center. |
Rotate an artwork or an internal line |
Click in the artwork or line, and drag the black rotation point in the gizmo circle. The element rotates from the point where the gizmo is located. Note:

Rotate a piece or an artwork or a line |
Click in the piece or artwork line, and drag the black rotation point in the gizmo circle. The element rotates from the point where the gizmo is located. Note:

Relocate the gizmo |
Drag the center point of the gizmo, or click on the new location. |

To create this piece:

Go to the 2D window.
Select the existing sleeve piece (numbered 3).
Ensure the gizmo is selected.

Using the gizmo, rotate the existing sleeve piece 90° clockwise.
The following image shows the gizmo in action while holding down the Shift key.

Go to the Context view.

In the Actions section, at Symmetry, click X.The new piece is displayed on top of piece number 3.
Drag the new piece away from piece number 3 so you can see it clearly.
Save the file: on the Main toolbar, click
.
Once you have created the sleeve, continue with Reviewing the Pieces.
