The VStitcher Main menu includes the following:

File

The File menu includes the following options:

Option

Description

New Garment

Allows creating a new garment from scratch. See Starting the Tutorial to learn more about creating garments.

New Outfit

Allows creating a new outfit. For detailed steps, see Creating an Outfit

Open

Use this option to browse for and open garment files. You can also use the

Open-icon.png

icon in the Main toolbar to open files.

Recent Files

A quick way to view and open recently used files.

Save

Allows you to save updates to the current content of the last saved file.

Save As

Allows you to create a new file or save an existing file to a new location with the same name or a different title.

Optimize File Size and Save/Save as

Use the Optimize File Size and Save/ Optimize File Size and Save as to optimize a file size without reducing quality before saving it on your computer.

Fabric textures are scanned and conformed to VStitcher dpi, bit depth, and color mode needs. Textures that exceed the highest 3D rendering and print to file requirements will be optimized.

(smaller file size=faster uploading and downloading).

Include Avatars and Accessories

Allows including avatars and accessories when saving a garment file. A check mark next to this option indicates that the avatars and accessories will be included.

Import

Export

For more information on importing and exporting different file types, refer to Importing, Exporting, and Opening Files.

Export Material Library

Allows you to export materials from garments. You can export a packed U3M Library or a unified 3D Material Library. See Asset Libraries for more information.

Import From Cloud

Allows importing garments, avatars, and smart design templates from Browzwear@Cloud Library. See Import from Cloud for more information.

Render

Select Render to render garments/outfits/avatars/style. VStitcher provides many rendering types and capabilities. You may also render using the

render-icon.png

in the Main toolbar. For more information on how to render and the different rendering types, refer to Rendering in VStitcher.

Print to File

Use the Print to File option to save each piece of a 2D pattern as an individual image at full scale. You can use the output as a reference for other graphic design systems, or as a true dimension plotted image. For more information, refer to Print to File.

Create Tech Packs

Tech Packs allow exporting all relevant technical information and visual references from the 3D garment file that are needed to manufacture the physical garment.

Edit Tech Packs

Allows you to edit tech packs generated by Lotta or VStitcher. For further information, see Editing Tech Pack Properties for information.

Share on Stylezone

Select the Share on Stylezone option to upload a style to Stylezone directly from VStitcher or Lotta. You may also do so using the

stylezone-icon.png

in the Main toolbar. For more information on uploading styles from VStitcher or Lotta to Stylezone, refer to Uploading Styles With Lotta or VStitcher .

In Stylezone you may view, edit and create collections to share/ showcase on multiple boards. Refer to the Stylezone section in our Help Center to learn how you can use the various possibilities of sharing styles on Stylezone.

The Main menu is the only part of the user interface which is materially different in PC and Mac versions of the application.
